Upcoming all-day meditation retreat at Ancient Dragon Zen Gate

Ancient Dragon Zen Gate will hold its next one-day meditation sesshin Sunday, July 25, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.

An opportunity to deepen awareness

Dharma talk will be given by resident teacher Taigen Dan Leighton; dokusan available (individual practice discussion with Taigen).

Zen lunch provided.

Taigen Dan Leighton, a Zen priest and Dharma heir in the lineage of Suzuki Roshi, is our guiding teacher. Taigen has practiced in Japan as well as America, is author of Faces of Compassion: Classic Bodhisattva Archetypes and Visions of Awakening Space and Time, and he is co-translator of several Zen texts including Dogen's Extensive Record, Cultivating the Empty Field, and Dogen's Pure Standards for the Zen Community. He also teaches at Loyola University.
