Ancient Dragon Zen Gate will hold its next one-day meditation sesshin Sunday, November 14, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.
An opportunity to deepen awareness
Dharma talk will be given by resident teacher Taigen Dan Leighton; dokusan available (individual practice discussion with Taigen).
Suggested donation of $65 includes a vegetarian lunch. Partial scholarships are available and free parking is usually available on nearby cross-streets.
Taigen Dan Leighton, a Zen priest and Dharma heir in the lineage of Suzuki Roshi, is our guiding teacher. Taigen has practiced in Japan as well as America, is author of Faces of Compassion: Classic Bodhisattva Archetypes and Visions of Awakening Space and Time, and he is co-translator of several Zen texts including Dogen's Extensive Record, Cultivating the Empty Field, and Dogen's Pure Standards for the Zen Community. He also teaches at Loyola University.

PUBLIC WELCOME to the regular zazen period at 9:20 am, and Dharma talk at 10:15 am, even if you are not attending the all-day sitting. There will be no meditation instruction class Sunday morning, November 14.
