Ancient Dragon Zen Gate will offer a seminar on Soto Zen traditional forms on Saturday, January 15, 2011 from 1:30 - 3:30 pm.
We will discuss Soto Zen traditional forms used at Ancient Dragon Zen Gate. These ritual forms provide a structure to support and develop our spiritual practice and to harmonize our practice together. We will look at aspects of Dogen's Pure Standards for the Zen Community and the attitude toward communal practice expressed, and discuss specifics of how we implement these forms in our meditation hall and temple.
