Ancient Dragon Zen Gate will hold a three-day meditation sesshin, a special opportunity to deepen awareness, from Friday, September 16th to Sunday, September 18th; Friday and Saturday from 7:30 am to 9 pm, and Sunday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.
Dharma talks by Guiding Teacher Taigen Dan Leighton will take place daily, and dokusan (individual practice discussion with Taigen) is available.
Suggested donation: $65 daily; partial scholarships (sliding scale) are available. Lunch and dinner will be provided Friday and Saturday; lunch on Sunday. It is possible to sign up for any one, two, or all three days.
Taigen Dan Leighton, a Zen priest and Dharma heir in the lineage of Suzuki Roshi, is our guiding teacher. Taigen has practiced in Japan as well as America, is author of Faces of Compassion: Classic Bodhisattva Archetypes and Visions of Awakening Space and Time, and he is co-translator of several Zen texts including Dogen's Extensive Record, Cultivating the Empty Field, and Dogen's Pure Standards for the Zen Community.

PUBLIC WELCOME on Sunday, September 18th to the regular zazen period at 9:20 am, and Dharma talk at 10:15 am, even if you are not attending the all-day sitting. There will be no meditation instruction class Sunday morning, September 18th.
