An opportunity to deepen awareness
Dharma talk will be given by guiding teacher Taigen Dan Leighton, and dokusan is available (individual practice discussion with Taigen).
Suggested donation of $65 includes a vegetarian lunch. Partial scholarships (sliding scale) are available and free parking is usually available on nearby cross-streets.

The regular zazen period (9:30am) and Dharma talk (10:15am) on Sunday morning are open to the public, even if you are not attending the all-day sitting. There will be no meditation instruction class Sunday morning (2/26).
Taigen Dan Leighton, a Zen priest and Dharma heir in the lineage of Suzuki Roshi, is our guiding teacher. Taigen has practiced in Japan as well as America, is author of Faces of Compassion: Classic Bodhisattva Archetypes and Visions of Awakening Space and Time, and he is co-translator of several Zen texts including Dogen's Extensive Record, Cultivating the Empty Field, and Dogen's Pure Standards for the Zen Community.
