PETER COYOTE is a noted actor, an activist, and also a Zen priest and teacher, and Buddhist practitioner for 40 years. Coyote has worked in over 135 films, including: E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, The Jagged Edge, A Man in Love, Unforgettable, Femme Fatale, Bitter Moon, Random Hearts, Erin Brockovich, A Walk to Remember, and Sphere. He is an Emmy-Award winning narrator of over 120 documentary films, including several by Ken Burns, most recently The Roosevelts. He remains an engaged environmentalist and peace activist. In 2010 and 2014 Peter Coyote offered the opening invocation and talk at Unsung Heroes of Compassion, where His Holiness the Dalai Lama recognized and blessed fifty people from around the world.
