After finishing reading the massive Flower Ornament (Avatamsaka) Sutra over the course of six years, our Emeritus Guiding Teacher Taigen Dan Leighton is beginning a new reading group. We will study the Huayan School, the Chinese teachings emerging from the Avatamsaka Sutra (Huayan in Chinese). These include the fourfold Dharmadhatu and the ten times, using Thomas Cleary’s Entry Into the Inconceivable, among other sources.
Suggested donation is $10.00 per meeting, $60.00 for the whole series (self-determined sliding scale). Everyone is welcome with no donation and no registration is required.
