Sunday Morning Zazen and Sejiki Ceremony: Nourishing the deceased and unsettled (hybrid)
Special Sunday Morning Public Program at Lincoln Square Zendo and in our online Zendo via ZOOM.
All are welcome to join in our Sejiki (Offering food) ceremony. No registration required.
This ceremony has ancient roots in Asian cultures and resonates with other traditions where the dead and troubled spirits are celebrated and welcomed. Sejiki is both a memorial service for deceased loved ones and an offering of awakening and nourishment to all being. We will chant the Gate of Sweet Dew to extend care to unsettled spirits of the inner and outer worlds. We will read names of loved ones who have died in the past year. The ceremony will be followed by teas and treats,
Send names of loved ones to be remembered and read during the ceremony to: info@ancientdragon.org
