Join us (online) for a relaxed end-of-the-week tea and treats. The directions are simple—make yourself a cup of tea, arrange a treat (cookies are good), and log into our online zendo. Aside from that, we’ll spend time catching up and maybe playing a game or two!

LGBTQ+ Dharma Group

The LGBTQ+ Dharma Group meets approximately once a month. The program begins with 30 minutes of group zazen followed by tea, snacks, and discussion of a previously circulated Buddhist text or article relevant to the concerns of the LGBTQ+ community and their intersection with Buddhist practice.

Haiku is a Japanese form of poetry that is drawn from direct experience with nature.  It is an ancient spiritual practice that is now a worldwide phenomenon.  Gyoshin Laurel Ross will lead two nature walks to introduce people to writing in this simple form on Saturday, April 17 from 8 AM to 10 AM at Montrose Beach, and Wednesday, April 28 from 7 AM to 8 AM at Horner Park.   We will walk in relative silence enjoying whatever Mother Nature…
