Guiding Teacher Report
- Guest speakers
- Florence Caplow in-person last Sunday of August
- Hakusho speaking September 10th
- Steven Heine the week after
- Norman Fischer will talk in November or December
- Segaki will take place in October
- All day sitting November 12th
- Eihei Koruku seminar in October or November
- Taigen and Hogetsu will co-lead the Rohatsu sesshin
- Taigen to lead the Spring Practice Commitment Period on Hongzhi
- Hogetsu may re-start the Full Moon ceremony program
Leadership Transition Process
- Taigen and Hogetsu have met three times with productive discussions
- They hope to have a proposal and then for the board and the sangha to have input
- The timeline is uncertain
- They have spoken about being co-guiding teachers
- Consensus of board members who have spoken is to give Taigen and Hogetsu their space to figure out some of the specifics regarding timelines and job descriptions
- Consensus is that Taigen and Hogetsu should move forward with their meetings
August 20th Sangha Meeting
- First item will be an update on the building
- Second item will be to talk about leadership
- Third item will be discussing programming

- We are sending three representatives to the conference: Douglas, Wade, and Reuben
Fundraising Efforts/YEL
- Taigen feels we need to revision fundraising
- Volunteers needed for this effort
Sangha Care Committee (Sara and Reuben)
- Sara stepping down, primary need is for new leadership
- Volunteers needed for this effort
- Debra and Sara hosted zoom tea and had 4 participants

- Yelp page reclaimed
