Dogen’s view of time is subtle, and builds on East Asian philosophy. Joanna Macy’s Deep Time is an approach to seeing how to befriend future beings and help refresh and deepen our world and its problems. The seminar will be in part based on Taigen’s article, “Being Time and Deep Time” from the book, A Wild Love for the World: Joanna Macy and the Work of Our Time (Shambhala).
