Meditation instruction, Zazen and Chinese New Year’s Celebration and Children’s Event

Today our morning program will include as a Children’s event our special Chinese New Year’s Ceremony. This day our annual Chinese New Year’s Ceremony, open to all, at 10:15. This is a Children’s event, with children activities in the kitchen during zazen, then children joining for the Chinese New Year’s ceremony on this new year of the Boar.

8:30 am: Doors open
8:45 am: Meditation Instruction *
9:30 am: Zen Meditation (zazen)
10:05 am: Walking Meditation (kinhin)
10:15 am: Dharma Talk
11:00 am: Temple cleaning and tea *
* Please note that there will be no meditation instruction, temple cleaning or tea on Sundays when we have special sittings. The 9:30 am Zen meditation and 10:15 am Dharma talk are always open to the public even when there is a special meditation event. Consult the calendar for details.
