Sangha Potluck

All Dragons are invited to attend a celebratory potluck lunch at the Ancient Dragon zendo on Sunday, February 26, following our sangha meeting.  We will gather to share food and to express our gratitude to Douglas Floyd for the many contributions that he has made to our sangha, as he steps down from his position as Director and also from the Board, which he has led as President for many years.   We will also welcome our new leaders Wade and Alex.  

Douglas’ study and steadfast practice has been evident, as he has offered his guidance to our temple and to so many of us personally. While honoring Douglas’ contributions, we will also be remembering and highlighting events and aspects of our sangha’s history.  There will be time at the end of the morning service for comments from those attending both online and in person. 

The potluck will follow immediately in the upstairs kitchen. This will be an opportunity for informal conversation and to get to know each other better.  

We are requesting vegetarian food offerings from those attending the pot luck.  To sign up to bring food please use this Google doc. Food should be clearly labeled if it is gluten free, vegan, or containing nuts. Please also bring serving utensils. Tea and service ware will be provided. Consider a contribution in one of these categories:  main dish, salad/appetizer or dessert.  The Google doc will allow you to see what has already been contributed, so you can help us balance each category.
