Dharma Talk by Guest Teacher Steven Heine on “Zen Views of Travel and Place.” Dr. Heine is one of the foremost American Zen scholars, has written numerous books, including Readings of Dōgen’s Treasury of the True Dharma Eye; Dōgen and the Koan Tradition; Did Dōgen Go to China: What He Wrote and When He Wrote It; Like Cats and Dogs: Contesting the Mu Koan in Zen Buddhism; Opening a Mountain: Koans of the Zen Masters; and Zen Skin; Zen Marrow. Dr. Heine is Professor and Director of the Institute for Asian Studies at Florida International University. Monday Evening Public program in our online Zendo via ZOOM.
