Zen Meditation and Dharma Talk by Debra Callahan: Keeping Zen Practice Alive

Dharma talk by Debra Callahan, Debra’s zen practice started in the 1980s with day long sesshins at Green Gulch Farm .  After moving to Pittsburgh, PA in 1991 she practiced with Rev. Shohaku Okumara, Rev. Kyoki Roberts,  and numerous retreats with Reb Anderson. Now,Debra practices with Ancient Dragon Zen Gate and Berkeley Zen Center.  Debra is a nurse and community volunteer. She celebrates life with her 3 adult children and 3 grandchildren,.after the loss of husband Geoffrey from a brain tumor in 2012. Debra and Taigen met on a tour of Chinese Zen sites in 2007. Monday Evening Public Program at Lincoln Square Zendo and in our online Zendo via ZOOM.
